It is no secret that I LOVE the drama that great design creates. I am a sucker for a great “wow” and love seeing a look carried through from beginning to end. Joy came into my life via her cousin (and an amazing musician-front man Carols of Sauce) and we both still thank him! We might have driven Andrew a bit crazy with our love fest, but we didn’t let it stop us!

Joy and her lovely mama, Elva, trusted me to bring their beautiful vision to life and make it all seamless! Thanks to a stellar vendor team, we did JUST that. From the Karen Tran inspired floral (that Wendee Sawran executed perfectly) to the classic napkin rings. Every detail was taken into consideration and had Joy’s timeless seal of approval!

Bonus, I got to work with the incomparable Jeanann Wilkinson! She not only does breathtaking work – she is so much fun to be around and captures every moment with ease.

I miss you all and can’t wait for you to open a City Surf up North so I can see you!!!
