I remember my first meeting with Katherine and her mother, Jackie, one morning at the Hotel Saint Cecilia. They were so kind and lovely. Katherine was marrying Kevin at one of my favorite venues – The Driskill. Bonus – Jackie’s British accent made everything she said sound so wonderful. They walked out of our meeting and I wanted to follow them and scream PICK ME!!! Luckily, they did!

Katherine was finishing up med school in Houston (now doing her residency) so had a VERY packed schedule. The time she did have to plan needed to be stress-free and FUN! Little did she know, Jackie was documenting the entire planning process and would present her with a beautiful photo book before she walked down the aisle. Verity Rule #1 (really the only rule) champagne must be consumed at EVERY meeting.

Katherine and Kevin’s wedding was simply stupendous. The floral earned the English stamp of approval, and the chuppah was pure magic. Tucks of floral and hanging lights were underneath the creamy ivory fabric – and since I thought 30 minutes was too short of time to spend under it, we had Katherine and Kevin have a private meal there…just before they greeted all their guests.

Thank you all for making every meeting a true celebration! You really do know how to savor the experience!!!
