I have a love/hate relationship with doing friend’s weddings. I loooooove being able to show how much they mean to me by planning their big day and bringing their vision to life. The flip side is that I hate all the pressure that I put on myself. When Stacey and Matt got engaged, I was so excited to help. I have known Stacey for over 10 years, and she is in the wedding industry so totally gets it. So no pressure on this one.
Stacey and Matt are both (extremely talented) photographers and were living in Brooklyn at the time. They chose Montesino Ranch in Wimberley to host their wedding because it was well – picture perfect! Plus, they had awesome chairs included! We crafted some terrariums and super creative table runners – and let Wendee Sawran handle the rest. The result was 100,000% Stacey and Matt and we all had a magical night dancing and boozing the night away.
Thanks for trusting me guys.
Matt thanks for eating your boutonnière that you insisted on and for nixing the cobalt glassware. You are my fave.
Kat Bevel Photography captured it all beautifully. (No pressure on her with a dozen photographers there.)

This is gorgeous! I couldn’t imagine the pressure when everyone is in the biz.
